if i may add something in this catfight. i actually found the overall message meaningful — that content is key, to stop blogging about blogging and how these kinds of blogs are often just leeches of the google promise. plus, it’s not like they went to your blog and slandered you. i dont think there’s a law to only say what everybody likes.
and isn’t the PSBA-parking-space-beside-ateneo-thing a corny joke already? kk. i shut up now.
hahahahaha…! 100 comments na! amf…
Mike, you should have campaigned for the contest as well! You’re technically qualified since you didn’t export your old blog! Hehe
I downloaded this frigging 60-minute MP3 for almost 8 HOURS because I’m a dial-up loser user. Pero it’s all worth it. Glad I gave in to curiosity.
A brilliant podcast. I enjoyed it. Huzzah, huzzah, and all those shit.
Haterzzz, LOL.
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL OMGZ. HATE PARADE! Where’d all the idiots come from?
Wow. What the hell happened here?
I think my daughter can’t help but to say a thing here as she witnessed the amount of time I spent on the past twelve weeks tallying entries and prep stuff in my old podcast. But thanks to your podcast, she learned a thing or two about the blogging culture.
Did someone say “shirts?” I’ll be on it like white on rice. And BOO, I missed all the fun. But the best part for me was how the post that preceded the soon-to-be t-shirtinated “pointless” comment was:
“pwede ba tumigil ka na mgengilsh, ang panget e! masyadong pilit! You should shut up!”
Classic.
What’s this? What’s happening? What’s going on? Is there an idiot convention in town?
I tried listening to it but goddamn, that shit’s long. And you boys sound gay. Now, I love you both and all. But still. You sound gay.
LET’S DRINK!
Oh, and one more thing. I’M ON LIVEJOURNAL. Asshole.
So yeah. Let’s drink!
yay man blog people! the other stupet found his way to my blog too. and yeah, i’ll be waiting for those shirts coco. ^_^
It’s getting so chaotic in here. Love it! Haha. I wonder how the snatches of cattiness will turn out.
The pompous ass within my subconscious howls and feels rather elated that this whole argument thing started with something I brought up. Don’t I deserve a pat on the birdie for that at least? No? kk.
And bringing up the topic of me bringing up the topic is totally arsey-fartsey. Whatamoron. Then, again, What a classic.
I hang myself now, brb.

I have three points to raise Mike and Marco:
First, you said you are a rising star. Given that you are famous, I still don’t find any reason for you to lay smack on other blogs. Yes you are entitled with an opinion. But that freedom comes with responsibility. Instead of saying those foul words, you could have made some suggestions for these blogger to improve. If you think that you are really good at blogging, then why not make a positive difference.
Second, you mentioned about combining satire with blogging. Satire is a mockery of things that show follies, abuses, or shortcomings. Well, I don’t see any of those three in the blogs you have mocked. Also, a satire is done in an artistic form. All you did in your FOBcast was to say the F word and blamed your misery to other bloggers.
Finally, you have been bragging about your income. You also mocked the food offered at the bloggers’ meeting. Well, I really doubt that you can treat 300 people at Max. You say that you are rich, but your actions suggest your poor upbringing. I remember you saying something about Jufran. Perhaps the only catchup you can afford is a sachet of UFC.
As much as I respect your opinion, I really feel bad about your actions. These bloggers gave their effort and time to make the event successful. I know you have doubts on the way the voting was done. But you should have suggested changes for it to improve. You promote yourself as a superstar when in fact you are just a malcontent and a whiner. Indeed you are a rising star. But the direction you are headed is towards infamy.
COCKS COCKS WILL SUCK COCKS FOR FOOD!
HELLO I LIKE COCKS. ALSO, LITTLE BOYS WEARING SHORTS!
Hi! I am Rey and I am a Fil-Am residing in Louisiana. I just came across this blog when i searched for influential blogs and Philippines. I was surprised that there was a competition for blogs. Hats off to those who organized it and congratulations to those who won. I didn’t know that blogging has become popular in the Philippines. I don’t know about the criteria for choosing blogs but I think the criticism was uncalled for. I think us Filipinos should be happy with the achievements of others. Apologizing would be a great gesture on your part Mikey and Marco. And one more thing, the use of fucking is excessive. It’s not cool anymore.
Hope to go back to the Philippines soon!
HELLO I LIKE COCKS. ALSO, LITTLE BOYS WEARING SHORTS!
–LOL
Manuel Villar, I’d like to read your comment, but it’s too fucking long. You know what would help? If you break it down by chapters.
Also, I’m too busy having sex. Sorry.
Mika and marca, you sure do spend alot of time & effort trying to diss these guys. Get a life…LOSER, or should I say LOSERS! Quit dissing on people who actually do something they enjoy, that’s so like filipino’s to put each other down. Before you react, maybe you don’t know who I am. Okkkkkkkkkkkkk…Whateverrrrrrrrr!
Thanks for the kind words about my mother’s site, guys.

Who the hell is “theRAPIST”? You’re ex or some fag your rejected or something? O__o
hehe. text message din kaya ang tawag *nila* dun.

now, to share my equally worthless opinion, this ‘fad’cast is so much like the malu fernandez story.
napansin ko ring marunong na pala ng SATIRE ang mga Pinoy. and most of it is probably influenced by too much Simpsons … o Jebus, Geebus, Geezus, elegtas mo po sela!
Thanks for saying so, i recently came across your blog and have been reading along.. Thanks

HOW, REALLY, DID MANUEL BAMBA VILLAR, JR. GET TO BE RICH? It may bear and serve the Filipino nation well to investigate and know that Manny Villar may actually have broken through from Tondo-ragged accountant to billionaire-rich presidentiable by allowing himself to be used as a foreign investor’s dummy in the Philippine real estate business. You see, the conduct of real estate business in the Philippines is made exclusive by law to Filipino citizens, necessarily because its affairs involve sensitive issues that affect territory, patrimony, and national security. Wasn’t that a debonair American who was smilingly visible every day at the offices of Crown Asia, Inc., way back before the Villars became political aspirants? Unfortunately, sighting American presence at the Crown Asia, Inc. organization deteriorates to zero visibility in hot election weather, especially nowadays! As Manny Villar embarked on a political career, it naturally became strategically imperative to avoid flaks of damaging controversy about being economically beholden to foreign influence, especially from nationalist camps of the likes of then Senator Teofisto Guingona Jr. who was one among legislators instrumental in passing general law limiting conduct of real estate business in the Philippines to Filipinos only. In fact, it was from 1997 to 1999 that the bespectacled, middle-aged, happy American investor (silent or express?) of Crown Asia, Inc. was last regularly observed at the 18th Floor of Cityland Herrera Tower. Most of us often have “humble,” sometimes “rotten,” beginnings; yet being transparent about such beginnings can do more good than harm. The key to the answer may reach as far back as auditing days at SGV, or perhaps good Senator Manuel Villar would like to comment on this matter at this time?
